Pain at the Pump; Looking for Solutions

As you are well aware, gas prices have reached an all-time high and are wreaking havoc on our personal and family budgets. Most of us rely on our vehicles to get us to and from work, school, shopping, church, and countless other necessary activities.

It doesn't seem as though Washington is willing to provide solutions to the impact of escalating fuel prices. Yet, these prices are affecting every sector of our economy such as dramatic increases in the price of food. Not only do we feel pain at the pump, as a result we now feel pain when paying for necessary items from clothing to food. Are we getting to the point where people are making choices between cutting back on medicine and food? The only beneficiaries of rising gas prices seems to be oil company CEOs and their shareholders while hard working New Yorkers are falling behind.

If you think New York State should cap wholesale motor fuel prices that oil companies charge, please sign in below to register your support.
